Cost of the extension program

The total cost of the lengthening program for the year 2025, taking into account the patient’s stay for a period of three months

90-100 days is the period of time from the day of the operation to lengthen the thigh or leg bones to the desired length

The ideal length is when the muscles, ligaments and nerves are suitable for the new bone length. The ideal lengthening of the femur is 7 cm, and that of the tibia is 4.5 to 5 cm

Lengthening beyond the above figures will prolong the post-operative period and therefore increase the costs.

The total cost of femur lengthening is $45,800, and the total cost of tibia lengthening is $47,800.

This price includes the cost of surgical operations and the patient’s stay in the hospital for the required period, as well as the costs of removing the devices after the bone has completely healed, i.e. one to two years after the first operation.

Renting a separate residential apartment during the extension program is not included in the costs of the aforementioned process

Our medical center offers luxury residential apartments for patients, with prices ranging from $500 to $1,400 per month. The center’s management can also search for cheaper apartments

The center provides a male or female nurse to sit with the patient and assist him or her during the first days after the operation, during the day or throughout the day. The assistant may stay for the entire extension period, depending on the program

The medical services the patient receives are included in the comprehensive lengthening program costs

Medical services include doctor visits, physical therapy, massage (20 sessions for the lower extremities), cycling, medication and x-rays

During the extension period, the patient receives meals of his or her preferred food. The prices of the meals are not included in the overall costs of the extension program. The patient’s assistant purchases the food items the patient needs at any time. The assistant also accompanies the patient to the store to help him or her choose the food items he or she desires

Household services such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry are not included in the program. They usually cost $20 to $30 per day

International calls and internet use at the patient’s expense

The lengthening program period is calculated from the first day after the operation and does not change if the patient travels before the first three months

The lengthening program duration may vary as needed to achieve optimal leg length

The patient can serve himself in the apartment

The cost of the lengthening program is paid in installments and at the expense of the medical center where the patient receives it. The patient can pay in another currency according to the banks’ tariff on that day

On the day the patient arrives at the hospital and undergoes the initial tests, if the operation is approved, the patient pays an amount of $4,000. This is the insurance amount for the lengthening program, which is non-refundable if the patient decides to cancel the lengthening program or decides to postpone it. This is because the initial preparations for the lengthening program, including purchasing equipment, manufacturing devices, and preparing the hospital and housing, cannot be recovered by our center

Ten days after the operation and the installation of the devices, the patient pays $37,000 for the femur lengthening program or $39,000 for the leg lengthening program

The remaining amount of $1,000 is paid one month before travel to remove the devices, i.e. after a year and a half to two years
